Ship differing from conventional tanker has been delivered by Gotaverken to O.Ditlev-Simonsen Jr, Oslo; names Vibit, 19,200-ton vessel has been chartered by Shell organization for asphalt trade between West Indies and European/African ports, and can also serve as oil tanker; length oa 557 ft, breadth molded 71 ft, depth molded 40 ft 8 in., draft 30 ft 4 in., capacity of central tanks is 720,000 cu ft and that of wing tanks 235,000 cu ft; 9-cyl Gotaverken engine develops 8200 bhp at 112 rpm.
