Built by Liffey Dockyard, for Commissioners of Irish Lights and intended for use as tender and supply vessel to lighthouses and lightships around Irish coast; length oa 233 ft, breadth molded 38 ft, depth 17 ft; propulsion is by two sets of Lobnitz totally enclosed pressure lubricated triple expansion engines each developing 750 ihp; steam at working pressure of 200 psi is supplied by two Scotch boilers.
