Built by Harland and Wolff, principal dimensions are: length oa 512 ft, breadth 69 ft, depth 41 ft 6 in., gross about 10,800 tons; six main cargo holds, with part insulated for refrigerated or chilled cargo carriage; powered by two single acting 2-stroke eccentric crosshead opposed piston Harland and Wolff engines.
