Identical tugs Yukon and Nanana built at Albina Engine and Machine Works for Alaska Railroad are paired with 300,000 gal capacity shallow draft river gasoline, barges; tug length 120 ft, depth 7 ft 6 in., beam molded 35 ft; barges are 175 × 44 × 7 1/2 ft; tugs are propelled by two Enterprise Model DMG-16 diesels, rated at 600 hp at 600 rpm.
