Vickers, Ltd., at Weybridge works, has carried out long series of experiments, and evolved forms of duralumin construction; simplicity is keynote of design; construction forms are such that resulting structure is considerably lighter than corresponding wood structure for same strength; basis of system is novel form of spar web.
