Investigates resonance in rolling and pitching; study is made from two distinct cases of head seas and following seas; two useful diagrams are prepared giving on base of ship speed and ordinates of pitching period, corresponding period of waves of varying lengths; once pitching period is known and speed, particular length of of wave from which ship would be in resonance can be immediately read off from diagram. See brief translated abstract in Mar. Engr. and Motorship Bldr., vol. 50, no. 593, Jan. 1927, p. 37.
