De Havilland Beaver has proved itself as suitable aircraft for aerial topdressing; machine has completed 250 hr of work; in distributing 1640 tons it has proved that its capacity is five times that of Tiger Moth and direct operating costs are roughly double; payload of phosphate put aboard is 1521 lbs; fuel consumption is 15 gal per hr and oil used by 450-hp Pratt and Whitney Wasp Junior is 1 pt per hr.
