Engine used in General Motor's Le Sabre and Buick XP-300 "dream convertible," is for experimental purposes only; overall height kept down to minimum by using very shallow oil pan and relatively small flywheel; total weight 550 lb because of aluminum cylinder blocks and heads; engine designed for high output at speeds considerably below those ordinarily attained in highly supercharged racing engines.
