Wind-tunnel test technique was evolved and data from preliminary test series were reduced to develop and to evaluate method; existing model was modified by slitting wing chordwise at seven spanwise stations leaving spar intact and attaching strain gages to measure wing bending moments; reduction method used avoids need to differentiate bending-moment variation by curve-fitting unknown span loading variation; data reduced are presented for typical test conditions.
