On three geosim tanker models, 4.2, 7 and 10 m in length, resistance test, selfpropulsion test, propeller open-test and wake survey test were carried out; analyzed results on these models are compared with standardization trial data of corresponding actual ship; one of most important items to be made clear to improve model-ship correlation seems to be scale effect on propeller open-water characteristics.
