Functions of simulators required for exploration of biomechanics, physiologic, and performance changes resulting from exposure of humans and animals; under construction are six-degree-of-freedom motion device, operating in 0 to 30 cps range to produce vibrations with peak loads up to plus or minus 15 g, dynamic pressure chamber, and dynamic escape simulator that will permit suprapositioning of sustained acceleration of up to 20 g with high-magnitude, complex angular and linear motion and range of atmospheric pressures and temperatures.
