Requirements and capabilities of scientific package for Jovian flyby mission are defined, based on present knowledge; first flight will probably carry magnetometer, energetic particle detector, cosmic dust detector, and plasma probe; later missions will carry specifically planetary instrumentation; most promising and newest test is measurement of time-delay effect; other tests of general relativity and possible planetary radio and radar measurements.
