It is shown how to move 365-ft vertical space vehicle mated with 12, 000,000 lb of ground support equipment over 3 1/2 mi without letting it tip more than 10 min of degree from true vertical; four double-tracked trucks supporting transporter are steered hydraulically from one of two similar control cabs.
