Concept of Saturn V derivative launch vehicle systems, their performance capabilities, and their ability to perform orbital and high-energy missions at minimum total program cost; these derivative configurations have payload capability range extending from that of Saturn IB to postulated manned planetary vehicle requirements which might include placing larger nuclear modules/ stages in rendezvous compatible orbits about earth; vehicle and facilities design commonality and impact are summarized.
