Re-entry trim angle of attack and lift-to-drag ratios from Gemini flights GT2, GT3, GT4, and GT5 are compared with wind-tunnel data from Arnold Engineering Development Center, (von Karman Gas Dynamics Facility AEDC-VKF) tunnels F and L; comparisons show that systematic and carefully analyzed wind-tunnel program can be very useful in prediction of flight aerodynamics of such re-entry spacecrafts as Gemini and Apollo; correlation parameter found to be most meaningful was Reynolds number downstream of normal part of bow shock wave.
