Velocity requirements for scientific probe vehicles operating throughout entire solar system are formulated for both direct flights and those using planetary swingby modes; launch vehicle and payload sizes necessary to perform useful scientific missions are examined showing that solar system is accessible with remarkably small amounts of modern technical equipment.
