Construction of military railroad, completed by 711th Engineer Battalion, operating between Camps Claiborne and Polk, in Louisiana, where thousands of railway troops will receive training in all phases of railway operation and maintenance, of track and bridge organizations to be employed on new line, and army ratings given officers and enlisted men in these organizations.
