Construction is fairly standardized and, with minor exceptions, procedure is much the same in all engine shops; too much emphasis cannot be laid on importance of surface table, marking off, templates, and length stick in relation to subsequent assembly, which should be as rapid as possible today; some aspects of marine steam turbine construction considered.
