Design of amphibious vehicle, powered on land and in water by hydraulics; primary hydraulic drive system supplies fluid to wheel and propeller drive circuits; as vehicle emerges from water, hydraulic fluid is channeled automatically to wheel motors allowing them to take over job of moving vehicle; for land travel, each wheel is driven through gearing by hydraulic motor at wheel; details of propulsion systems; suspension system is modified oleo strut, and provides full shock absorption and variable spring rate.
