Biennial Frankfurt Motor Show in mid-Sept 1967 housed offerings of 87 manufacturers from 12 countries; outstanding models and developments are described -- NSU Ro-80 Wankel-engined sedan, fully automatic transmission for VW 1600 Eastback and Variant, "selective automatic" for 1500 Beetle, electronically-controlled fuel injection for 1600 designed to meet United States antismog requirements, and exhaust-emission control system for 1500; Opel Olympia four-door fastback, and derivation of notch-back Kadett; German Ford 20 M TS hardtop, available with 126-hp V-6 engine; illustrations and schematics.
