Controls placement method is established to obtain, relative to seat height for greatest number of drivers, work position compatible with exigencies of performing tasks and with demands of comfort as defined by optimum values of body angles; biomechanical model of human body whose skeleton is considered as system of articulated links is used; optimum angle limits between links are defined by drawing in body segments; thus, from geometric method of describing conditions of comfort, simple geometric formula may be used to locate controls.
