Two types of signs at 12 study locations in Central Illinois were divided into four groups; Division of Highways used ball-bank indicator to determine critical speed of curves; testing conditions are given and data tested by analysis of variance and t-test computations were processed by electronic computers and 95% Confidence Interval was used; driver response to signs is discussed and data are tabulated.
