Influence of cut-outs in elevator on static longitudinal stability and on static elevator effect; in order to improve rudder effect of sport airplane at high angles of attack, cut-out was made in center of continuous elevator so as to enlarge rudder downward; static controllability resulting from cut-out manifested 18% drop in elevator effect at full throttle and 10 to 20% drop at idling.
