Development of techniques in Great Britain with special reference to their application to problem of aerodynamics at transonic and supersonic speeds; analysis of longitudinal and lateral motion including effects of cross coupling and flight path acceleration on most important aerodynamic derivatives of performance, stability and control; it is emphasized that wind tunnel techniques and free flight techniques supplement each other.
