Series of nickel-base alloys not requiring vacuum melting techniques and providing good stress-rupture and impact properties was developed for possible aircraft turbine blade or space applications; strongest composition displayed stress-rupture lives of 384 and 574 hr in as-cast and homogenized conditions, respectively, at 1800 F and 15,000 psi.
