Experimental blower, evolved by British Internal Combustion Engine Research Assn, employs new compression cycle; intake, compression and delivery processes take place in annular channel formed in, and therefore revolving with, rotor, although stations at which processes occur do not revolve; construction, design considerations, and components; blower made for l-p charging of 4-stroke engine, is also suitable for supplying scavenge air for 2-stroke units.
