Results of tests to establish effect of prospective current of circuit closing angle on arc energy, of arcing angle and of effect of design of fuse element on arc energy; object was to determine prospective current corresponding to maximum arc energy, as well as to ascertain if current has simple relation to that corresponding to maximum inductive energy.
