Accident study of Turnpike over six year period as to vehicle types involved in accidents, accident severity and vehicle miles traveled by each of these types; it is shown that trucks have poorest involvement ratio; primary reason is instability of vehicle combination combined with driver unfamiliarity and difficulties in handling; tabulation of data.
