Program conceived by Bur of Naval Weapons directed toward satisfying objective Maximum Readiness Per Maintenance Support Dollar and Maintenance Man-Hour; objectives are -- to establish maintenance based upon plan for operational use, to develop system which reduces to minimum expenditure of manpower and dollars for logistic support, to determine resources for support of weapon by maintenance engineering analyses, and to achieve compatibility between all support resources; concept applied to aircraft, fighter, torpedoes, missiles and gun fire control systems.
