Factors affecting choice of automotive primers including dipping, spraying, and welding, and nondrying and flash primers; various types of corrosion; importance of maintaining specified baking schedules and using quality product and proper film thickness is emphasized to assure corrosion resistance; it is shown that high zinc dust welding primer performs important function on construction of unitized bodies, especially where body dipping primer is not used.
