American Brake Shoe Co's iron wheel foundry in Toledo, Ohio was converted into highly efficient plant for casting steel wheels for freight cars; melting of steel in 25,000-lb electric arc furnace; other operations described; output gradually is being built up to plant's rated capacity of almost 50,000 wheels per year.
