Design and construction of altitude chamber in which pressure and temperature can be varied independently, at Langley Memorial Aeronautical Laboratory, Va.; temperatures ranging from + 20 to - 50 deg. cent. are obtained by the expansion of CO2 from standard containers, used for calibrating research instruments under altitude conditions simulating those up to 45,000 feet.
