Results of tests of wing sections characterized by small travel of the center of pressure, tested at 20-atmos pressure in variable-density wind tunnel of Nat. Advisory Committee for Aeronautics, giving consistent results and showing that for stable sections a small effective camber, a small effective S-shape and a thickness of 8 to 12 per cent, lead to good aerodynamic properties.
