Describes latest application of Dutton principle of transport, which endeavors to combine best points of both road and rail systems, which is accomplished by carrying a large part of weight of vehicle on rails and driving it through rubber-tired wheels in contact with ground surface, namely, a roadrail car with petrol-electric transmission; built throughout by Tilling-Stevens Motors, Ltd., of Maidstone, England; to be tested by York (England) Tramways Dept.
