With advent of V/STOL aircraft, engine thrust response has become quite critical and inexact analytical procedures applied to determination of jet engine thrust response in past may not be adequate; it is desirable to have mathematical model of engine or expression that will define dynamic behavior of engine which must cover magnitude of thrust increments that are of interest to stability and control investigations of VTOL aircraft in hover mode; equation presented relates primarily to rather substantial changes in engine thrust.
