Development of system which provides US Army and Air Force Commanders with highly mobile, compact battlefield command and control center with capability of staying aloft for relatively long periods; it utilizes basic concept of precision annotated retrieval/display (PARD) which can be used in number of different command and control applications; basic features of PARD concept include use of aperture cards to store background data such as maps, charts, tables, etc on microfilm and viewing on TV monitor of different portions of aperture card at various magnifications; ABCCC display system was successfully installed in C-13OE aircraft and was flight tested during recent armed forces exercise.
