Analysis for determining dynamic response of airplanes to runway unevenness during takeoff or landing was programmed for numerical solution on IBM 7090 digital computer; analysis permits inclusion of landing gear nonlinear characteristics and flexural mode characteristics of free-free airframe; dynamic response of Boeing 733-94 supersonic airplane and Boeing 707 airplane on Runway 12, Langley Field, and on Runway 28R, San Francisco International Airport was determined.
