Description of test procedure and test engine which is 170 CID in-line 6-cyl engine, equipped with single barrel carburetor, and positive crankcase ventilation; engine operating cycle is described which is repeated five times in succession each day until 20 cycles have been completed; test results are discussed showing that Falcon Rust Test has good reproducibility between various laboratories and demonstrates ability of lubricant to give substantial assist in resisting corrosion and its effect on wear.
