Experimental pneumatic suspension consisted of 6-liter vessel closed by elastic diaphragm and connected by means of 25 mm diam rubber tube with 4-liter compensating vessel; static air pressure varied from 4.0 to 6 kg/sq cm depending on automobile load; results of laboratory and road tests carried out on suspensions equipped with air throttling type hydraulic vibration dampers are shown in oscillograms.
