Plan put forward by F. G. MILES, for London airport, which, it is proposed, should be situated at mouth of Thames opposite Hole Haven, would have runways 2 1/2 mi long to accommodate large air liners which are now being designed; it would handle eight million passengers to or from all parts of world, large quantities of urgent freight, and would cost approximately £20,000,000.
