Current flowing to ground from automobile, whose rear wheels were turning on dynamometer, was measured; magnitude of constant current measured, in order of microamperes, shows that vehicle is electrically charged by conduction through tires; calculation shows that tires are usually conducting sufficiently to discharge car in short time after car has stopped.
