Illustrated description; shed to new depot is double-ended with connections to LNER main line at both ends; 60 locomotives can be accommodated on 10 tracks within shed; at east end, 70 ft preparation pits are installed on each shed road; vacuum operated 70 ft turntable installed; coaling plant of 250 tons capacity, capable of refueling locomotive with 8 tons of coal in 3-min provided.
