Because of desirability of limiting consumption of imported oil fuels, many internal combustion engines are being adapted to run on producer gas; account of method of conversion of Diesel engines that has proved successful in conditions of operating service; although particulars relate to engine of specific make and type, AEC Regent, principles are applicable to Diesel engines generally.
