Wooden vessel, Dr. Geo. J. Moser, built in 1904 at Tottenville, NY, converted from steam to Diesel propulsion at yard of R. Lenahan Co, Kingston, NY, and renamed James F. Dwyer; main engine is 6-cyl, Atlas Imperial, 4-cycle, solid injection type, direct reversible Diesel engine, with 13-in. bore by 16-in. stroke, developing 400-hp at 300 rpm.
