As vehicle size and fire rates increase for space-flight operations, booster recovery becomes more important; initial vehicle requirements, recovery cost, booster rotation time, and various correction factors are defined; approximation formulas derived and evaluated for arbitrary orbital flight mission; recovery schemes -- parachutes, wings, etc, evaluated numerically.
