Tests show that dimensional stability and strength of TYREX viscose cord has resulted in lower growth, less chunk-out, better treadwear, less tread cracking than comparable tires made from thermoplastic and relatively unstable nylon cord; TYREX viscose cord is stated to be highly desirable cord for tires in meeting exacting demands of service on passenger cars and trucks.
