Effects of various fin configurations on pitch and heave, speed loss, phase angles, and vertical accelerations of 6.6-ft model in regular head seas; test conditions included speed range corresponding to Froude numbers from 0 to 0.30, and range of wave lengths corresponding to wave length-ship length ratios from 0.75 to 1.51; in general, results indicate that fixed bow fins produce maximum pitch reductions for ship speed and wave length combinations that correspond to near synchronous conditions.
