Measurements of velocity flow fields and vortex movements about blunt models undergoing spherical blast waves with positive overpressure of 4 psi; bullet optical method is used to determine flow velocities and applied to velocity fields in which gradients are largely normal to free-stream direction; corner sharpness had no discernible effect on overall disturbed velocity fields of vortex movements for square-bar models used; pertinence to design of blast resistant bodies and structures.
