Information on studies made in Louisiana State University concerning Interstate highwaytype post-mounted reflective delineators; research was initiated to determine if post-mounted reflective delineators were effective and valuable enough as traffic control device to warrant their installation and maintenance; although surveys indicated widespread driver acceptance of delineators, measurements of vehicle speed and placement revealed no significant differences between delineated and nondelineated sections.
