30,000 ton passenger liner built at Monfalcone yard by Cantieri Riuniti dell'Adriatico for Italia Line, Genoa has length oa 682 ft 2 in.; breadth 87 ft 3 in.; depth 49 ft 3 in.; propelled by two Fiat 2-stroke double acting 12-cyl engines, cylinders having 650 mm diam and piston stroke of 960 mm; rated output is 13,000 bhp at 162 rpm; first Italian liner to be air conditioned in every apartment.
